Telling the truth can be hard but it's the best thing to do

Dear readers,

Today I will be sharing a story that's very close to me -a story where I told the truth and got rewarded for it. This story is of the time when I was 16 years old and spending time with my friends meant the world to me. Celebrating with them, celebrating with treats and all this with my father's money.

My father never had us asking for any requirement of ours, he always took care of our needs even before we asked for it. But for some reason, I was hesitant to ask him for extra money but that would have been the right thing to do.

I used to take money from my father's wallet and without his permission, I didn't realize what I was doing was wrong but that's how childhood is - sometimes you may not realize your mistake but better late than never, when you do realize your mistake - you shall admit it and come out with the truth.

It had been around a few months and I had been regularly taking money from my father's wallet and finally one day - my father got fed up and asked my mother as to who was taking money from his wallet - my mother didn't know who it was.

Few days later, my father caught me taking money from his wallet but didn't confront me - he let me take the money and for days that followed, he didn't even mention this incident - he wanted a confession from me.

One of my friends though had been caught by his father for taking money off his wallet and he told me about this and told me how regretful he was of not telling his father that it was him that was taking money from his wallet. This made me realize that I shall not commit the same mistake as him and decided to confront my father with the truth.

My father came from his office and I told him the truth and you know what my father said! He obviously said "I know". I was shocked to know that he knew of me taking money from his wallet and he told me - he knew that I'd been taking money off his wallet for a few days now but he wanted me to realize my mistake. He further added that he's always ready to give me a few extra bucks to celebrate with friends, after all that is what childhood is about - I just need to ask him.

This made me realize that it's in fact true that parents go a step ahead to ensure their childrens convenience and had I asked my father, he would never say NO to give me money to celebrate with friends. Confronting him with the truth was tough but it made me realize my mistake and it's the internal satisfaction that I got which matters.

It's very true - truth is hard but its the best thing to do.

MYSTREY OF INDIA.

The Nine Unknown Men

178507705
The Nine Unknown Men are to India what the Illuminati is to the Western world, but even more pervasive and mysterious. According to legend, thispowerful secret society was founded by Emperor Asoka in 273 BC after a bloody battle that took the lives of 100,000 men. The function of the Nine Unknown Men was to preserve and develop the sort of secret information that would be too dangerous in the hands of the uninitiated.
Each of the Nine was tasked with holding a special book of knowledge, ranging from propaganda to microbiology. Some of them are even said to hold the secrets of anti-gravity and time travel. Occasionally, some of this precious information leaks out into the world—for instance, it is said that the martial art of Judo was based on “leaks” from the Book of Physiology.
The number of the Unknown Men is always nine, and their undisguised contacts with the outside world are few and far between. Much like the Illuminati, there are many rumors about their current and past members. Strangely enough, not all of them are Indian—the Unknown Men are apparently spread all over the world, with some of them allegedly holding very prominent positions. Among suspected members of the Nine Unknown are the influential 10th century Pope Sylvester II and Vikram Sarabhai, the scientist who created India’s budding space program. The Great Taj Mahal Conspiracy
71263955
Taj Mahal is without question the most famous—and possibly the most beautiful—building in India. Considered one of the modern wonders of the world, this ornate white marble building was created by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan as a mausoleum to his deceased wife. Or was it?
According to some theories, Taj Mahal was never the architectural embodiment of eternal love history remembers it as. Instead, some evidence suggests that the building is actually about 300 years older than its supposed builder. New Delhi professor P.N. Oak, the man behind this theory, claims that the building was originally not a mausoleum at all. He suggests it is actually an ancient Hindu temple known as Tejo Mahalaya dedicated to the worship of the god Shiva. If true, this turns the entire history of TaJ Mahal on its head: Instead of building one of the world’s most precious constructions, Shah Jahan would merely have taken an existing temple, slapped on some decorations, and dedicated it to his wife.
While this may seem far-fetched to those of us who like Taj Mahal as it is, it’s worth noticing that Indian royalty have a history of capturing enemy temples and mansions and repurposing them into tombs for their loved ones. What’s more, the memoirs of travelers in the area during the time of Taj Mahal’s supposed construction make no mention of its building and even note that the “Taj” already existed as an important, established building. Is Taj Mahal as the ultimate display of romance just a giant lie created by shoddy historians and propagandists? Until the Indian government agrees to open the sealed rooms within the building so they can be thoroughly investigated by experts, the  Cursed Village Of Kuldhara
Minolta DSC
For over 500 years, the village of Kuldhara was populated by about 1,500 residents. One night, they all disappeared. They didn’t die or get abducted or anything—they just left. The reason for their sudden evacuation is lost in time. Some say they fled the taxation of an oppressive rulers, while others weave a tale of young lovers and the girl’s angry father who was a big shot at the village.
Whatever the actual cause of desertion, one thing is generally agreed upon—when the villagers left, they cursed the area so that no one may live there ever again. Of course, some people tried to take over the cozy, abandoned village. According to legend, all who tried died a brutal death. Some of the people who have died in there are said to still haunt the village, according to paranormal investigators who have experienced some very strange events in the place.
Whether all of this is true or not, the village has certainly gained a frightening reputation. It remains deserted to this very day, and no one has even considered repopulating it for a long time.courtsey google search.

#RiseAboveFear of Failure - a journey of life that helped me discover my own self

#RiseAboveFear movie by MountainDew

Through this blog post I take you through the journey of honesty and the journey of truth - a journey of finding your own self.

Through my journey of life, I realize that I could find my own self once I came over the fear of failure.

Being the eldest of the 4 brothers and having a personality that's sensitive which has made me more aware of my responsibilities. I easily remember that I was working so hard on my education that till I completed diploma in engineering, almost every day - right from early schooling days, I was studying throughout the nights... It was just to avoid the very "fear" of "failure" in life, which I could not have accepted being the eldest son.

I still remember an incident when I was in class XIth, that one of the days I fall down on the floor and when my father took me to the doctor.. He said that "it is just because of over stress" and advised me to live a more relaxed life style. It is because of this stressful lifestyle that even till a few years back - I had problems of sleeping during the night - more commonly known as insomnia.

After academics, I lived a very successful professional life but the very creative nature of mine took me to the business of building contractor. I failed once, twice, thrice BUT in the process - the 'fear of failure' I OVERCAME and the internal power of the soul has took me to the path of spirituality and today, I write articles, give training to thousand of people on how to overcome fear of failure and develop spiritual aspect which is the very essence of human life.

I've seen many tough phases through life, one of which is when I had to go to Bagdad to support my family from breaking down and coming on the roads. My father had lost his job and none of my younger brothers were financially stable to take care of the family - I had 2 brothers who had not even started jobs yet.

I was newly married and had to make the hard decision of leaving my family and going to Bakdad and taking up a hard job - where I had to put in several hard hours into work but through this I discovered my true self. I discovered that there's so much to life and that hardships are part of life and being fearful of failure is nothing but a state of mind - why to fear the failure! I say #RiseAboveFear and face challenges with a smile - every hardship goes and if you've the will power and strength, no challenge is big enough to break you down.

The divine beauty of nature can only be felt through travelling

Join AirBnb:https://www.airbnb.co.in/invite?r=3

1) 15 min. Champs-Élysées - 4 pers. Monceau, Paris : a place of my dreams, the scintillating peak of nature at this very place is absolutely flawless and to be experienced to be believed. Paris has been considered the fashion capital of the world for a while now and it's only fitting that it be a fashionable place in itself to be considered even remotely close to a fashion capital. This city is in the true sense the perfect place to get-away for a week or two and come back refreshed. The eiffel tower in particular is a place that must be visited for a terrific experience of travelling and without Paris, one's wishlish of to-travel destinations cannot be complete.

New york city : known as the capital of the world, much recognized for its tall buildings and iconic buildings is situated in the heart of the super power of the world, USA. This city cannot even be compared to other cities in terms of it's development and to-see places. The cross-culture population of this city makes everybody, no matter from which part of the world they're, feel welcomed. It's a matter of great pride for any one to go to this city and experience it's true beauty. After all, it isn't often that one gets to visit New York.

I for one have seen the beauty of the city only through lenses i.e. be it through movies of tv show/documentaries but I do plan to see it in real one day and hence its in my wish list.

I’ve never been someone whose been a great traveller but I sure do have many places of mine that I’d love to visit – Paris and New York are 2 such places. If I get the opportunity to visit any of these 2 places, I shall truly feel honoured. The incredibility of these 2 cities is the cross-culture and the terrific places to see – plus the food and the people to meet are truly a cherry on the cake.

The 2 places of mine sure would be in your wish list too and I’m anxiously awaiting to see your list – do visit AirBnb and take pride in showing-off your wishlist of places to see. It’s very easy and all you’ve to do is to go on the AirBnb site and create your wishlist by clicking on the “heart” button at top of the list of places.
Travelling in spiritual sense is about calming yourself and re-energizing your body through seeing the nature at it’s best and seeing the true architectural perfections around the world. The 2 places I name, Paris and New York are without doubt 2 architectural marbles. Keep travelling and experiencing “life” in it’s true sense.

Just like #Montu, it's time for us to raise our voice

When a country is inclined to move towards a change, it doesn't care for the obstacles that may be in it's way - it only sees a target which it looks to achieve with the best resources that it has, same can be said for the current state of our country.

Our honorable Prime Minister Mr.Narendra Modi has time and again showered light on the issue of "cleanliness" and why it's an integral part of life to live in a clean surrounding  - it cannot be emphasized enough be it from general perspective or from spiritual perspective, the important of a clean surrounding is so vital that one just cannot ignore it.

I for one feel that the coming generation is a lot more active when it comes to being part of initiative such as this and so are brands like Strepsils, which has come up with the initiative of "#AbMontuBolega" - it is a campaign that showcases a changing India, an India which doesn't sit idle and see things happen but instead, it stands up and delivers to it's promise of "change". No more are we "fine" with seeing things happen the wrong way, we want things to happen in the right way and regardless of the challenges, we're ready to put in the extra steps.

The #AbMontuBolega campaign says "keep calm and speak up" and that's what we all need to do, when our Prime Minister is giving importance to this issue, it's our duty to do the same. Be it even in a small way, but everyone shall come forward and be a part of this.

Your galli, nukkad, mohulla, street, apartment, bungalow - use as many fancy words as you like but there sure are areas near and around you which needs to be cleaned, isn't it the duty of yours and mine to clean these areas! Isn't it ironical that a country which was once referred to as "sone ki chidiyan" faced today the hard reality of being a country that's nowhere as clean as it should!

Just like Montu, I too have decided to raise my voice for the better and spread the word among my friends and I already am. My friend circle often discusses on these issues and does it's best to spread the awareness of the same. Even in my own house whenever I see a piece of paper lying around of a pack of chips thrown here and there, I pick it up myself and throw it in the dustbin and it's small steps like these that take the initiative from small scale to large scale - which is the main aim behind it.
It's the face of India that we're changing. Get ready folks, India is getting clean and we're raising our voice for each one of us to be a part of this.

Do checkout the campaign site > http://www.abmontubolega.com/ and follow Strepsils on Facebook and Twitter.

#GharWaliDiwali - the days of our lives

Let me begin by wishing you all a happy and safe diwali. May this year bring all of you great success.

This post is regarding recollecting memories of our #GharWaliDiwali and so I will.. I can recount that during diwali’s, my father used to be given huge gifts from his office – as he was a civil engineer, he gave contracts to many people who returned the favor by giving him huge gifts – most of which his principals didn’t let him receive but he was fine with gifts like sweets and dry fruits.

One of my special memories is therefore the whole room being filled with sweets and dry fruits – and my brothers along with me used to have a gala of a time being spent on eating these sweets and dry fruits.

Next, I remember being fond of decorating. I used to prepare decorating items by myself – nothing was purchased from the market, everything was prepared by items easily available at home – say for instance, diyas could very easily be prepared from scratch – decorated with colour and full of diwali messages and auspicious greetings.

We had a bungalow and we used to decorate it with great colours of lights and I had grown this tree called “raat ki rani, din ka raja” which gave beautiful smell and on the diwali nights when the whole family sat in the lawn, this beautiful smell made the festival even more enjoyable and worth remembering.

I’ve always liked the tradition in diwali of exchanging gifts and celebrating with family; diwali is all about being celebrated with your loved ones – be it playing rummy (tradition of diwali), preparing great meals for everyone to have on this special day or just the fact that the whole family unites for this festival – the whole idea of a family diwali is so special.

On diwali, we – the whole family used to go out on a movie, eat cholla bhatura and ice-cream to end the day, it was without doubt the best time of the year because after coming home, the party continued for several days to come and that is what makes diwali so much more special, the memories that you collect through the years stay with you for many many years to come.

On this diwali, relive those moments with the family, cherish the childhood days of awesomeness and relive the #GharWaliDiwali with your family. Diwali is not only about lights but it’s also about filling other people’s life with a glorious beacon of light – which is filled with happiness and good thinking for each other. Diwali is about wishing each other the happiness that one looks for and the best of the success that one can have – diwali, a festival we all cherish for it’s pureness.

Dabur Chawanprash : A habit instilled through generations

Credits for the header image: Indiblogger

“As healthy as a diamond” – every parent wants their kid to be the most healthy and fittest kid of the world and therefore every parent does everything to ensure for the best of the environment being created for their toddler, to ensure for his/her best of the nourishment.  Even a sneeze for the little toddler scares a worried mother and a strong yet loving father –cannot help but feel worried for his toddle’s health – that’s to sum up the care of a parent towards their children.

It is not only the concern that matters but the steps taken by the parents to help their kids be the fittest that they can be – after all, today is all about the survival of the fittest, right!

Dabur Chawanprash is one such memory from years down the line that I can recall as the “trustworthy” of the mothers. Each and every mother in Indian knows the brand of Dabur Chawanprash and without exception has instilled the habit of Dabur Chawanprash in their kids and their kids are instilling these values in their kids – it’s been with us for generations and surely Dabur Chawanprash will be with us for generations to come. It can therefore not be ruled out that the value of a spoon of Dabur Chawanprash is so much more than just a daily dose of protein; it’s a daily dose of necessity.

3X immunity system – talking of which from a general point of view is so critical in today’s world. A healthy you is a healthier environment that you create around you and with the stress of today’s life, the competition that is around, the fierce battle of the best – you ought to be at your best at all times.

Saying which, starting your mornings or your afternoons or at least when your kid is free in the evening – the daily dose of Dabur Chawanprash is without doubt a necessity, it must be changed into a habit that every kid must have, a habit which your kid instills into his/her own kid – because every parent wants their kids to be the BEST that they can be.

Being sick is liked by no one but being fit is the dream of everyone – yes, the much acclaimed speech of Martin Luther King jr. stands well here. “We must build a stronger tomorrow and for that, the childrens of today are the key as they are the future”.

Without doubt with that noble though, it’s time to again stress on the value of a 3X immune system – a child that is healthy is automatically following the footsteps of those who became successful because success comes to those who are willing to put in the hard work and with a 3X immune system, working hard becomes easy.

Wishing all my readers a healthy and safe Diwali.
