MONEY & SPIRITUALITY. Artha, Dharma, Kama and Moksha are the four essential objectives or 'Purusharthas' of human existence. Two of these viz. Artha (money) and Kama (worldly desires fulfilled or nourished by the power of material adequacy) relate to the material side of our existence. The other two, Dharma (in the sense of not religion, but righteousness) and Moksha (ultimate liberation from physical, mental and spiritual suffering), relate to our spiritual side. For a Grihastha (householders like you and me), all four are important. If life be compared to a car, then these are like its four wheels, two on one side and two on the other. If you have some wheels bigger than the others, you obviously can't keep a balance. Thus, those who worship money and put it above everything else, or those who think that spiritual people should hate money, are both being unbalanced. By over-emphasizing or ignoring the material side, we are losing the vital balance necessary for durable peace and happiness.

POSITIVE THOUGHTS POWER. Remind yourself daily that you are amazing. That you can do anything. That you are unstoppable. That you are a great person. That you are of value to the world. That you have the power to do anything you want to do and you can be anyone you want to be. Do this every day to tap into your true potential and live an amazing life. The one who is honest is clean and clear within. He is aware of his resources and uses them sincerely for his own benefit and that of others. Honesty also means to speak what is thought and to do what is spoken. So there are no discrepancies in thoughts, words and actions. So others are able to trust the one who is honest. Each action of an honest person becomes an inspiration for those around.

LIEING IS NOT SPIRITUAL ONLY TRUTH IS . Most religious and spiritual figures advise very strongly not to lie. They say that not saying the truth (when you are aware that what you say is not the truth or when you are not sure that it is the truth) is one of the main hindrances towards spiritual development, that you must be strict with yourself in real-time and not present to others as truth something which you know is untrue or which you don't know for sure that is true. Others would probably say that saying the truth is just a social norm designed by society to control you and that it has nothing to do with spirituality. I'm not talking about religious commandments or "God demands so". I'm talking about direct impact of lying on our metal and spiritual being. What is the basic reason for lying? It is ultimately a great fear to cope with someone else, to cope with a conflict with someone else. One prefers to escape the situation of conflict, of shame, of anger and instead lies. There is always fear there and it is always related to some other person or people. So it is always fear related to someone else plus the inability or rather the unwillingness to cope with this fear. The spiritual path doesn't oblige us not to fear. We have no control over the appearance of fear anyway. But the spiritual path does oblige us to cope with this fear, this is actually a central theme of our spiritual work - to be brave enough to observe and accept whatever difficult feeling that rises, including and above all fear. And if we tend to lie then it means that we are not coping with these fears.
